ABOUT US
Approximately 30 years ago our family experienced our first litter of puppies, Golden Retrievers, and as we continued, we added German Shepherds into our family. As our dogs got older, we stepped back from breeding, we and our dogs just enjoyed life. We thought about continuing to breed but it is hard to find puppies that can compare to the ones you lost. As I am sure many dog lovers can also understand. It didn't take long to realize what we were missing. I saw a picture of a woman reclined in a chair with a dog laying in her lap, covering her head to toe. I said to my husband, I have to have one of those.
That brings us to today, we have a total of 4 Bernese Mountain Dogs, 1 Great Pyrenees, 1 Golden Retriever, 2 Standard Poodles, 2 Toy Poodles, and 5 people. We have changed our breed of choice but have not changed our promise to provide you with the best family pet possible, our puppies with the best start possible, and ourselves with the peace of mind that we found the perfect match for you both.
How do we keep our promise?
For you, we make sure our puppies are healthy, happy, and very well socialized. They are introduced to various situations inside and out. They are used to children of all ages and dogs of all sizes. We introduce them to house breaking and simple commands.
For our dogs and their puppies, we raise them as part of our family. They live with us in our homes, go to a licensed veterinary hospital for all their needs, and eat Iams dog food. We have renovated our office and bedroom room into quiet, warm places for birthing and nursing, along with sleeping and crate training.
For us, we meet with our potential families first to make sure they are prepared for a new addition to their families and to make sure we introduce them to the breed to ensure the best fit. This allows for our puppies to pick you as well as you picking the puppy. It has to be a mutual decision. For that reason, along with safety and concern for our pups' well-being, we do not ship our puppies.
